This kit was specially ordered to have a UV reactive purple. When I tried using purple it turned out to be dark pink. Pink in the set came out lighter, a little lighter than purple, pink. So to make the purple look like purple I had to add a turquoise pigment underneath that I already had. I want to start by LOVE this product and never write reviews. I went to an emo DJ night and thought about what I could use to achieve this euphoric look. I know of other similar products with pressed pigments that can be applied with water. You can use this pigment but it's not the same result or it doesn't stick with ONLY water. I LOVE THESE PIGMENTS! THEY OBVIOUSLY GLOW ALONE BUT COMBINE THEM WITH ANY GOOD PIGMENT LIQUID PRIMER LIKE I DID HERE AND GET READY TO BE AMAZING. SOME SERIOUS GLOW. I USED A NYX JUMBO MILK PEN AS A PRIMER, PACKED MY CAP WITH PIGMENT, THEN MIXED A BIT PIGMENT WITH MY LIQUID PRIMER DROPS AND USED A SYNTHETIC EYESHADOW BRUSH UNTIL THE BRISTLES WERE WET AND THE COVER WAS COVERED.
