Great for Hackintosh and Windows

Great. It took me a while to find the type-c passport, which is great. Works without problems on MacOS (Hackintosh) and Windows.

Does not meet specifications so will not flush mount.

Replaces an older USB 3.0 reader that perfectly matches this mount. This reader is complete rubbish and I will never buy the EZDIY-FAB brand again.

Thing really works

If you have experience with these types of products, you know that they are prone to problems. It actually works as expected and the data transfer speed with the USB-C port is great.

Ready to use, easy to use, unreliable.

This was a great little faceplate in the 11 months it lasted. However, recently it has started shutting itself down randomly even when nothing is plugged into it. It's versatile and very easy to use, but unreliable.

Bad header connection!

I was very satisfied. I had the right connectors for my open headers! When I received it I didn't check the USB 3 connector, the pin holes weren't fully open and when I installed it the pins bent! I even tested with a different port before installing. In order to line them up correctly I have to REMOVE the motherboard - due to header placement.

Not as advertised! Best in Computers and Accessories

I bought two of these units for two different computers. None of the devices work as advertised or even fully. Some ports never worked (MS Pro slot) on both devices and other ports are now not working (USB 3.0) on both devices. After numerous emails and photos with a company representative (whose native English language is unfortunately not English) I was promised two new units once they were back in stock. It was 3 months ago. To date I have not received anything. I get no response when I tryโ€ฆ
