This thing saved the console. It's very easy to install, all you have to do is remember to keep the spring from the old kit as it doesn't come with a spring. Definitely recommend this for anyone looking to replace a broken latch. Great price and fast delivery.

Exactly what I ordered! Fast delivery! If you have an Acura with this part, it's worth buying an additional one now. The original design is bad and it will break. This replacement part was just what I needed. I already had the spring so I saved some money and bought this part. Spring is not included.

I was trying to fix my broken clip by buying this plastic adhesive. Worked for a week, then stalled again. For $10 it was ok. Very easy to install (but note that no metal spring is included). Luckily I didn't lose mine. So far this is working fine. You just have to be careful not to slam the tray shut, but rather press it gently so it doesn't break again.

This item was originally purchased in late November 2020. It broke in just over a month. I don't even drive regularly and don't use the console that much! I ordered another one for $10 (early Jan 2021) but if the next one breaks just as quickly I'll ask for a refund. Edit: This time (purchased on January 2nd) it broke before we could install it. Easy installation after watching YouTube even for non-mechanic. The cubes come without instructions, so watching the video on YouTube is highly recommended. Also, take the time to lay down a towel or blanket while you work, as this little spring likes to leap into the air and is very rare and difficult to find. Some people have written that without the spring you have to buy the entire armrest cover over $250 or go to a disassembly and try to find it.
