These are right-handed scissors, not two-handed.

The scissors feel heavy and strong. However, the description does not indicate that they are intended for right-handed people. Many scissors are reversible and I wrongly assumed that this product would be too. Since I'm left-handed, it's inconvenient to use. It should be clear from the description that this is right handed only.

Sharp, durable scissors

Excellent heavy duty scissors. I've mainly used it to cut 2-4mm thick foam, but it's definitely powerful enough to cut thicker materials like leather. You probably won't need a pair like this if you're just looking for basic paper cutting scissors, but they're a great investment for the advanced hobbyist. I can say they will last a while - plus I love the box they came in!

So hard it's scary.

I bought these to trim my coat down to a pea coat for a cosplay I'm working on. I thought I had problems with the zipper. Not me. As I cut the sleeves like butter, I realized I'd never held anything sharper in my life. I'm a little scared of my newfound power, but also eager to sever the bond between the human and their soul. The scissors arrived on time. I really liked the packaging. If I were to gift the scissors to someone, they would already be in a nice box with a brass Exacto knife as an accessory. It was worth the price I paid and the scissors were oiled and sharpened. The blades are connected with a brass nut and set of screws. I bought a pair of scissor tailed scissors for 2 sisters in law and a pair for my daughter. All three are enthusiastic about their excellent new pair of scissors. They love them and will go so far as to forego scissor bait, allowing their distinctive scissor tails to remain razor sharp and used only for their crafting purposes.
