Inexpensive first blanket

The cut quality of the blanket is good, the fabric is durable polyester. I bought to try it and see if it improves sleep (research says yes) before investing in a larger and more expensive duvet.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Quick start guide

well made and good value

Before I saw it here I found it in an aisle display case at Walmart and took it home. I haven't used it often enough to really appreciate the benefits of sleep, but it's very comfortable at the right weight to help you relax and feel more comfortable. I am a 160 pound male and some say I am gaining 10% of my weight. However, I tend to think less weight is better than too much, so this is an inexpensive way to see if you like the idea.

Pros
  • hands free
Cons
  • embarrassing

Good but no cover

The duvet cover was well made and great value for money but I don't think the weighted duvet cover is out of work. The liner has 8 spots to attach a blanket to, but as soon as you pick up the blanket the liner will hang and shift. I even sewed a cover around the entire perimeter of the liner, but it was still uncomfortable to move. Having bought the fabric and the time spent on sewing it, it was better to buy a more expensive, but ready-made blanket.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Volume

Looks high quality, not bulky, not loud.

First of all I would like to thank everyone who has posted information about how to make a cover before me. . I don't know much about these comforters but love the idea of making a custom cover and removing it to wash. I used a 12 pound blanket. The duvet itself is quite thin, but as a 5ft 2in adult, I wouldn't want any more weight. I was concerned about the width being 44 inches, not 60 inches. I'll have to wait for my daughter's reaction. The beads are sewn into fairly small squares rather…
