They seem pretty solid, thick and wide enough. They seem much more durable than the military grade nylon webbing belts I've been buying at "army surplus" stores for years. It can be said that the bar is made cheaply. It was very difficult to remove the strap once it snapped. It also broke on the 1st day of wearing. In my opinion I would say go with the other one. Also, the belt itself is very thin.

This strap is exactly what I was looking for in a quick adjust ratcheting strap that fits standard belt loops. The trigger and ratchet system is both intuitive and strong, and the strap itself is made from a very thick and durable material. VERY HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE!

Very durable, this belt surprised me. I've really enjoyed it so far. The only problem is that since the strap comes from the back (it's good to hide the end of the strap) I have to snap it on a little differently than the previous straps. I still like it a lot and the material is excellent. I will buy more of these.

Apart from the sizing issues I really like these belts. But both straps I received were over 6 inches longer than the advertised size I ordered and one was another 6 inches longer than the other! I would return/exchange them but I needed them for my trip. Luckily I was able to trim them with scissors and then use a lighter to keep the ends from fraying. 5 stars for the belt minus 2 stars for the wrong size = 3 stars.

I have had several ratchet straps and these are the best. Very durable and the best part is the tail runs behind the rest of the strap giving you nothing but a seamless look. The groove on the buckle fits so well with the grooves on the belt that it's a very clever design. You get two straps for the price, so no problem.

Straps appear to be threads of inelastic material. The clasp is great. No hole, easy to adjust and remove. The extra end is inside the belt, which is very convenient as there is nothing to wave. came with additional hardware that I don't know what to do with. Definitely recommend.

I love these belts. The buckle doesn't tighten and the leather doesn't tear and I thought the extra strap going underneath would be a problem but I love it. I can't think of anything negative about this.
