It worked great and now after owning it for a few months and only using it a few times it no longer charges. Nice light when it worked even though it looks brand new but something inside doesn't work.

Without application it may take some time to get the right warm light for portraits but for such a portable lighting option I can't complain. I haven't been able to use it for photos very often, but I like having a steady light rather than a flash which scares some animals and children.

I was very surprised by the quality of this light. The only complaint I had with the original F7 was the lack of app support. With this new F7 Mini Pocketlite, Falcon Eyes is now using the DesalLite app. So I had to give him a chance.
