I didn't like it when we received the filter it had a broken clip and the screen was torn in 2 places but had to use it. because we couldn't wait for someone else. I needed a second vent but didn't order another screen for fear of damaging it as well.

The norm for the course in the RV industry. The quality of this screen is pretty bad. However, it fits on the vent cap. Don't expect this to last, you'll probably need to replace the screen material with something more durable, it's just fused into the plastic frame. It's not even stretched, there's a backlash. The MaxxAir vent covers are generally of better quality and already have a reinforced screen.

This is a great product but needs improvement; I ordered two (one for each Fan-Tastic hood) for my caravan; one was fine according to the packaging, but the other needed a minor repair; The screen on the second was not fully cast/glued to the plastic frame reducing the effectiveness of the intended insect barrier so I used a 5 minute epoxy to reattach the screen to the frame which worked fairly well; I applied epoxy to both frames for reassurance; Installation was literally instantaneous; the…
