I bought these because I have thick hair and have started braiding it in strands to make it more manageable. I thought it would be fun to add beads. The needle threader is too thick to actually be used for threading beads onto braids (or dreadlocks I think). Also, it's made of plastic, so it will stretch and break if you try to put pressure on it. About half of the pearls are unusable. All open wire design beads are not neatly formed, so there are sharp metal corners on the inside of the beads…

I really like this product, it gives my braids an extra embellishment. Also, a man's beard looks very good when he wants to do something unusual for the night. This product won't snap, just make sure your braids aren't thick and slipping through.
