Disappointing WiFi Receiver for Ceiling Fans

This WiFi receiver did not work well for my Home and Kitchen ceiling fan. Through trial and error, I found that it constantly disconnected from my WiFi network and required resetting. The setup process was also difficult and time-consuming. The only positive is that it allowed me to control the fan through my phone. Overall, I would not recommend this product.

Wi-Fi Annoys: Lighting and Ceiling Fans

All negative 1 star reviews for this Wi-Fi app/controller are correct. This wifi app/controller sucks and doesn't work. I set up WiFi with no problems, but the app didn't connect to the fan, so I couldn't use it. I ended up removing the fan, but there are NO instructions on how to reset the wifi in the controller. I can't add the fan back to the app as it doesn't broadcast its own SSID as it's still connected to wifi. I want to try a different SSID to see if it connects but don't know who…

The app for this still requires a LOT of work.

Update: Now June 2021, no improvements or bug fixes. I would REALLY like to return this item. I bought this item but not from Revain. I love the fan designs this company offers. But the WIFI part just isn't there. He has a number of problems. When you first launch an app, you have no idea if it's actually connected to a fan or not. If you try to change settings, you will receive notifications that are not "connected". So you wait and wait and wait and if you're lucky it finally connects after…
