I use this jug on my kitchen counter to store some of my kitchen utensils. It offers enough space for several spoons, ladles and spatulas. There are also three cutlery compartments on the front of the jug. You can place kitchen scissors in the middle and then there is a slot for a paring knife on either side of the middle slot. In exchange for this review I received an empty 6 inch white Farberware bowl. Cooling or baking instead of constantly reaching into drawers. This pitcher is perfect for this function. It's big enough to hold at least 1 of each utensil you might need at the time and also has an insert to store 2 paring knives and kitchen scissors. That means everything you need is at your fingertips. I like the shape and color (nice pure white, not bluish or yellowish) and the barrel shape is eye catching.

This is a disappointment from Faberware. It's made of plastic, so it's a lot lighter than it should be. There's some thicker plastic on the bottom that helps weigh it down a bit, but it's not enough when loaded with dishes. It packs a large amount of kitchen stuff that weighs it down once you put a few inside. a bit more, but if you're not careful you can easily tip the whole thing over by pulling one out or trying to fill it first. Didn't pay attention at first and didn't realize it wasn't fully open all the way around. I didn't notice small "cutlery slots" and I didn't want that either. I bought it to store my kitchen scissors and the cutlery compartments took up the space I wanted for my scissors as I have several pairs for different purposes.
