🔪 Efficient Farberware Paring Knife and Cutting Board Set for Precise Kitchen Tasks Review

It was much smaller than I imagined. I must have misread the description. However, this is a regular cutting board and works well for slicing apples. The blue color came off my washcloth after the first cleaning. I used regular soap.

The cutting board is good but the glue never comes off. Multiple washes in the dishwasher and brushed by hand, she just won't budge and likes to collect dust. It's somehow inconvenient to wash the cutting board every time, both before and after. The paint on the knife has peeled off from the first wash and is obviously not food safe (see other reviews).

I love the size of this chopping board. It's ideal for small jobs like slicing lemons, onions or avocados. I don't really need a paring knife but I'm sure I'll use one because it fits the board and it's my favorite color! I have been looking for a replacement for my old 8" x 10" Farberware board that has worn out after 15 years of use. I was so happy to find this Revain replacement!

The board itself is small, but it's my fault for not paying attention when ordering. I read about the label stuck to the adhesive but figured a little cleaning with baking soda or a sticky additive would do the trick. Finally, Farberware is known for making quality products. No, I've tried everything, including the old peanut butter rub trick. The glue stays forever.

I bought this board and knife a long time ago, mainly for a small cutting board. I love this knife so much I wanted another one from the same company so I decided to write a review while searching for information here. Almost every day I core an apple on a board and cut off a piece of skin with a knife. This knife cuts better than anything I have and it's my knife. This set has become a real find for us.

I bought this knife and chopping board for slicing lemons and limes while bartending at a wedding. I've only used it once but as you can see the dye on the knife didn't hold up to the tart lemons I cut and my lemons turned blue. The bruise on the cutting board was because I was trying to peel off the adhesive that was part of the packaging that I couldn't completely remove from the cutting board. I'll probably keep using the cutting board anyway, but I'll definitely have to get another knife…
