Description of Merino Wool Damascus Lightweight Elite Hiking 1/4 Crew Socks by Farm to Feet

51% Merino Wool, 45% Nylon, 4% Lycra Spandex. Made in the USA. U.S. Merino Wool: We source our 100% U.S. grown merino wool exclusively from sheep raised by American farmers on American farms. Merino wool keeps you cool in the summer and warm in winter. Targeted Light Cushion: High-density cushion targeting critical performance areas throughout the sock. 1/4 Crew Height: Just above the ankle. Seamless Toe Closure: Advanced knitting techniques create a totally flat connection in the toe box, reducing bulk and eliminating blister-generating friction. Durability Assured: Reinforced construction and low-stress seam placement reduce wear and tear, increasing the life of the sock.

Excellent quality, durable

Excellent quality, durable, comfortable. Pricey, but I'm happy to pay extra to be made, owned, and received in the USA. What's not to like?

Pros
  • beautiful thing
Cons
  • The list will be long.

The best socks ever the best sportswear

These socks are fantastic. They may cost more but these are the highest quality socks I have ever seen. I think they will accompany me for a long time.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • So so

The best trail running socks I've worn this season.

Very comfortable, good cushions and they have proven themselves for such a run! I have bought other trail running socks here that were more expensive but did NOT stand up to the test. I will be placing another order soon.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Other Other

Quality socks made in the USA

Super cool socks made in the USA. I'm trying to get a full set of non-Chinese clothes. This is a good start. The socks are really well made. I bought them last summer, wear them all the time and they last a long time. just as stretchy as the day I bought them.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Very comfortable, well made

Very comfortable, well made. And most importantly, size XL fits my foot size 14. I sent back some "Darn Tough" socks I bought at the same time because they were too small even though they said they would fit a size 14 . I have sold these Farm to Feet socks from Damascus and am ordering 6 more pairs today. .

Pros
  • Very cheap
Cons
  • unreliable

Nearly perfect - men

I've always been a damn tough guy and I still am. I tried them based on the recommendation that they were a little more comfortable than Darn Tough. Basically they were right. These socks are a little softer and mostly comfortable on my feet and obviously very good quality with the same lifetime guarantee. The only gripe I have is that my boot gets in the way of toe visibility. I don't know if it will be something that will be compatible with all styles or just this one. I'll try another style…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • No instructions

The fiber content is wrong, however.

I usually like t-shirts and socks with lots of cotton or wool. "Performance" doesn't work for me most of the time. I bought these socks based on the following: 61% Merino Wool, 34% Nylon, 5% Spandex. It's actually: 51% merino wool, 45% nylon, 4% elastane, deducting a star for that. I think they work decently, maybe a bit tight around the ankles, but I would recommend them, especially as they are made in the USA. Just trust that higher natural fiber content would be slightly better.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Zero
