Simple, looks cool. - Puzzle

This option was fine. The pieces all fit together well, not too many pieces. It was a fun but fast model. Costs money. One star off because it's too easy.

Newbie, be careful with puzzles

This is by far one of the most difficult metal-bottomed models I've built. I have made about 20 models or so and this is definitely not one for you to try as I have made several metal floor models in the past. Visually, it's also one of the most beautiful things I've ever done. Lots of details. Bravo charm. I want more Star Wars heads! Grab it!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • There are drawbacks

Disappointingly small.

If you have large hands or poor eyesight, do not attempt this unless you have the patience of the Dalai Lama. I took this and the Knights Templar. Vader helmet which I gave up after 10 minutes and a broken piece. Yes, I used a magnifying glass with a light. And tweezers. And the instructions could be a little better. But if you like collecting things at IKEA, the instructions will do.

Pros
  • Decent Performance
Cons
  • New Competitors Arrive

Terrible. Best at Puzzles

So I bought this for my sons and I to work on. Directions are terrible. If they highlight areas that show you're bending them, they don't show you exactly how to bend them or what shape you're looking for. I bought the tools that come with the metal base and even bought some tab tweezers. The first tab I tried to bend broke. As a result, he ruined the model and failed to repair it properly. Not a good product. Terrible Directions. Poor quality and breaks easily.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Some cons

Not my favourite. It's too easy to scratch the black paint when assembling.

I have now built 7 metal models of the earth and although I love Darth Vader I did not like this model. It wasn't too difficult, but the problem is that it's very easy to scratch the shiny black paint with the tweezers and pliers you use when assembling. I had to touch up all the scratches with a black marker. Looks just like the picture but with all the chips and scratches it looks like crap. I should have skipped it.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Modern

I get stabbed in the back by any true Star Wars fan, this is a scam.

I give ZERO stars for everything about this "Darth Vader helmet" except that they did a great job in tricking consumers into believing it was something of value. You have to be 1 centimeter tall and have all limbs to scale if you really want to build this con. I am so disappointed in whoever allowed the Star Wars name to be used in this scam. In fact, I checked again to see if it's called Rogue Wars or something I missed. So disappointed about that.
