Description of Fast Cat Stranded Speaker Conductor

UL LISTED WITH OFFICIAL LABEL: If it doesn’t have a holo label, it’s NOT a fast Cat. cable! Outfit your business or home security system with bare copper audio cable that’s proudly UL rated (the highest national standard for safety). While other cable providers claim to be UL listed, most aren’t. So be sure to check for an authentic holographic UL tag!. OXYGEN-FREE PURE BARE COPPER: There’s nothing worse than having your home or business robbed -- except the bad guys getting away with it because your security camera lost signal during the event. Unlike inferior CCA cables, our audio cable only uses oxygen-free bare copper for 68% HIGHER conductivity and a strong, consistent signal you can rely on!. TAA-COMPLIANT & FLAMMABILITY RATED: Not only is fast Cat. wire TAA-compliant and flammability rated, but it boasts an impressive CL3R & FT4 rating (higher than CL2 and CL3!). It’s also CMR and FT4 flammability rated so it complies with fire safety and insurance requirements that make it safe for use inside residential buildings. Just try to find another cable that does all THAT!. HIGHLY FLEXIBLE FOR EASY INSTALLATION: Effortlessly wire around corners, score jackets and weave through drywall with super flexible cable that’s easy to work with and install. Our outer jacket is tough enough to handle plenty of drops and bangs, yet pliable enough to make installation fast and easy. Choose from a variety of sizes, including 16 and 14 AWG!. FLEXIBLE & DURABLE: Make your next install fast and painless with flexible wires that are easy to maneuver and prep. Our cable is rugged and durable to handle anything you throw at it, yet pliable enough to quickly prep jackets for scoring or measure the length of your workspace.

Good speaker cable

This is 14 AWG Oxygen Free Copper (OFC) with 108 strands. This makes for a flexible cable that's great for speakers and I even use it for my four subwoofers. No problem, easy to use. I use it with Neutrek speakers for subwoofers and mediabridge with banana plugs for speakers in a 5.4 configuration.

Pros
  • TAA COMPLIANT AND FLAMMABLE. The wire is TAA compliant and has a flammability rating, but boasts an impressive rating of CL3R and FT4 (higher than CL2 and CL3!). It also has a CMR and FT4 flammability rating, so it meets fire and insurance requirements, making it safe for use in residential buildings. Just try to find another cable that can do it all!
Cons
  • Obsolete

Great Value, High Quality

I have no complaints about this wire. It is exactly as described. The outer shell is strong enough to be pulled through walls, but easily falls apart at the ends for gluing. The inner shells are of the expected quality, strong but also easy to remove for connections. If you need speaker wire try FastCat, I'm not disappointed at all.

Pros
  • UL Listed WITH OFFICIAL LABELS: If it doesn't have a holographic label, it's NOT a fast cat. Cable! Equip your business or home security system with a UL-certified bare copper audio cable (highest national safety standard). While other cable providers claim to be UL listed, most of them are not. So be sure to look for a genuine UL holographic tag!
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Quality Cables!: Audio Video Accessories

Bought to connect my 1st floor for speakers. With all the hype surrounding the actual caliber size and pure copper versus copper clad aluminum, I was a little apprehensive about what I was getting at this bargain price. But this product is great! Solid copper and advertised as 16 gauge, this wire was noticeably thicker than some 14 gauge "professional audio" wire already around the house. The outer skin is rigid and easily pulled through the rather narrow and rough spaces in this old house…

Pros
  • FLEXIBLE AND DURABLE: Make your next installation quick and painless with flexible cables that are easy to maneuver and set up. Our cable is strong and durable to take on anything you throw at it, yet flexible enough to quickly get your Ritz jackets ready or measure the length of your workbench.
Cons
  • Some little things
