Finally a brightfield monitor at a good price

Very feature rich but the real benefit is the brightness this screen offers at this price point. Can control your outdoor shot in full daylight. The construction looks solid. We look forward to testing it over the coming weeks to see how it performs in a typical production environment.

Pros
  • Ideal for focusing on an HD or 4K signal
Cons
  • Update available

Perfect value for money

I did a lot of research before I decided to buy this monitor and I am very satisfied with its quality. In terms of brightness and capabilities, it easily competes with screens three times more expensive. I look forward to many shoots with it. UPDATED: Recently captured in broad daylight with the sun directly on the monitor. The screen was bright and super clear. The best field monitor I've ever used.

Pros
  • Note. Need to buy power adapter: 12V 3A
Cons
  • Useless features

My only complaint. Plastic!

Excellent image quality, brightness and many features. I would have liked the menu system to be a bit more intuitive, but what I liked most was the cheap plastic case. I would easily pay more for something more durable. I use this monitor with my BMPCC4K. The monitor is housed in a SmallRig cage, which is great. No vision problems on bright sunny days and no need for a sun visor.

Pros
  • Broad compatibility with any camera
Cons
  • Nothing here

Reliable SDI display at a good price

I was looking for a larger display for my Canon c200. Since some important features such as LUT and waveform are only transmitted via SDI and not via HDMI, I decided on this monitor. Although it's very light and handy, it has great features like false colors and waveforms. The image is more than bright enough to see in full sun. Good buy.

Pros
  • 2200 nits High brightness Meet the challenge of sunlight
Cons
  • Gotchas

Very bright. Ideal for field work.

I work professionally and occasionally. This monitor is really ultra bright. I used the HDMI version under the midday New Mexico sun with no problems. It outperformed the Monitor three times in cost. I liked it so much that I bought the SDI version. Sure, there's no touchscreen, but the price and performance are second to none if you want a super-bright monitor. I ordered a nice monitor lizard cage ($60.00) and now I have several 1/4's all over the cage.

Pros
  • One year warranty
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

The best monitor! for video studio

I shoot outdoors most of the time in bright sunlight and on a gimbal. After a long search for the brightest monitor I can buy at the best price and with no bezel, I found this one! My buddy bought one and after using it I was sold so I bought my own. Extremely bright and a stunning size that's still light enough for your setup but doesn't feel cheap. It's feature-packed and I'm glad it has HDMI and SDI (we were on a shoot with the Phantom and needed a better monitor than the built-in one so it…

Works flawlessly in extreme environments

I ordered this product on February 14th and received it on February 15th. george washington We worked under 2 feet or more of snow, in temperatures from 0 to 42 degrees, often with wind chills as low as -16. We shot in rain, snow and sleet. We often had to walk to our "sets", climb hills, descend steep slopes to the Hudson River and carry a piece of gear on every ride, this monitor was a champ! The Freeworld FW2795 7" Ultra Bright Monitor worked flawlessly. Of all the on-camera monitors I've…

I am a professional cameraman and occasional cameraman. This monitor is really ultra bright. I used the HDMI version under the midday New Mexico sun with no problems. Great little monitor - HDMI or SDI

I have a BMD Ursa Mini Pro 4.6K camera. A factory monitor costs between $1,500 and $1,700. depending on where you buy it. Yes, you can control the camera from its touch screen, but is that really necessary since I can control the camera from its many control surfaces? So I bought it for about $400 not expecting much. Wow! I was surprised by the picture quality. Simply unbeatable for the money. You can easily use it to focus as it has built-in focus assist and the image quality is excellent. If…

Worked perfectly in extreme conditions

I ordered this product on February 14th and received it on February 15th. Then I traveled to upstate New York to begin production on a pilot for a new television series about a young George Washington. We worked under 2 feet or more of snow, in temperatures from 0 to 42 degrees, often with cold winds as low as -16 degrees. We shot in rain, snow and sleet. We often had to walk to our "sets", climb hills, descend steep slopes to the Hudson River and carry a piece of gear on every ride, this…
