Well shielded cable.

This is a great wire to add protection and reduce noise to vintage guitars. Good wire as a replacement for P-90 humbuckers.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

This is not a guitar pickup cable

This cable melts easily as it is not braided fabric. Unsuitable for soldering to potentiometers as the inner insulation simply melts. I am very annoyed as now I have to find the right wire and I have already disassembled my guitar. The correct wire for all parts is GW-0837, but this is not the correct one.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • A dubious purchase for the elderly

Leaked information makes this cable an absolute scam

This is not a Gavitt cable but it is implied that it is. It turns up when looking for braided Gavitt shielding wire, but it's absolutely not the case. It is not even suitable as a wire. The core is CHEAP rubber, not fabric, and cannot be soldered without melting. I ordered this to replenish my stash of a specific guitar - a 1968 NO JOKE - ES 345 that belonged to a retired Vegas Police Chief. I can't use it - it's crap. Now I have to order the right things, further delaying the repair. I am…

Pros
  • Rugged construction
Cons
  • No breaker
