These things go into sleep mode before a USB connection can be made. I know my laptop supports video over USB-C. It works on another monitor, this one doesn't. First I need to connect to a live HDMI source so this stupid thing doesn't turn off. Why is this power saving mode at all? I'll unplug it from the USB when I'm done. My goodness. Once I use HDMI I can't get the USB video connection to work. Again, it works with another USB monitor. Not this one. Not even close to "plug and play".

I've been looking for a portable monitor as a second extended display for my work-from-home laptop for a while, but there were so many options to choose from. This monitor has excellent clarity and color reproduction. If you set the mode to "bright", the blacks become super black and the colors simply appear on the screen. It would be 5 stars if it was a touchscreen and had a stylus attached to it. That being said, I think plugging it into a laptop will charge it as I haven't had to plug in the charging cable until now. It was $129 when I bought it, happy those who bought it at a lower price.

For the size, cost, and overall feature of this portable monitor; You can't go wrong. This is exactly what I needed... My only concern is that the case it comes in doesn't really hold/support it like I was hoping... The cables are also a bit of a nuisance, but that goes for any wearable device. Screen. The product is fairly light (handy for travel) and easy to use. Once connected to a laptop, no power connection is required. At around $100 this comes highly recommended. Cons: The kit does not include an iPhone 13 connector cable. It would be great if a C-type Lightning cable was included in the future product.

I've been using this for over a month. I would say this is a perfect product with high quality. I took it on a business trip when I need to work remotely. I just put it in my purse along with my Mac. Sometimes a demo of a product is required that allows me to easily write notes and review scripts without having to switch windows. And the price is reasonable compared to other similar products.

Easy to use, works well but only got 3 stars from me because mine came with a dead pixel. Small enough that I don't notice it most of the time, but still annoying. I shouldn't be sending it back.
