These bulbs are brighter than your four watts. They bring more light into your room. I use them in the kitchen. I have two night lamps. You don't have to turn on the light at night to find your way around the kitchen. I also have one in the bathroom and you don't have to turn on the light. I just like walking around the house early in the morning late at night without turning on the regular lights. Delivery was quick.

I have a Kenmore Fridge with a built in water/ice dispenser. I noticed the bulb in the dispenser had burned out so I looked around and found these bulbs. They work great as a replacement. As this is a pack of 4 bulbs I assume I won't have to worry about reordering for a few years. for a long time I could not find a 6 watt lightbulb.
