💡 Powerful Feniex AM600 High-Intensity Green LED Beacon: SAE Class 1 Efficiency Review

Red and blue lights purchased to replace worn out halogen rotators on the back of one of our fire engines. Not as much "bang" as I was hoping for, but it's definitely a great product for the price.

I installed it on a mini golf course as one of the obstacles is seeing the light on top of the Eiffel Tower during the day. You can see it from the highway at night, the amazing light is highly recommended.

I now have three of these beacons for their brightness and reliability. I have two securely mounted to my tractor headache post and one mounted to three 45# pull magnets for my trailer. All of them are good and clearly visible in direct sunlight.

So all in all they are good lights. They're not as bright compared to Whelen Super LEDs, but they're a decent alternative to a Class 1 Beacon, but don't want to spend 350 each. We use them in our fleet, but we ended up dropping them and returning to Whelen. They're flashy compared to other brands but don't seem to have the clout that Whelen has. I have used many feniex lights in the past and they have all been top notch in terms of quality and brightness. This one is the same as the others. However, it's larger than other beacons and the lack of included mounting options is a downside. I wish the magnetic mount was standard like other companies like Abrams. Expensive for an LED turn signal but more options than most. Plugs into a cigarette lighter socket which has two switches, an on/off switch and a momentary switch to change the flash mode. The selected flash mode stays in memory after turning off, so you don't have to cycle through the flash patterns every time, which is very convenient! It's highly visible even in broad daylight and has many flash options for the price. I didn't like that it only came in a cigarette lighter option as I would have preferred it hardwired to my flex bar and had a few issues with it coming loose due to vehicle vibration during use.
