I use this to connect the brew pump drain hose to a Line-Loc recirculating atomizer. There are no leaks, it works well, there's even an extra O-ring.

I like that they are easy to use, connect and disconnect smoothly, don't leak and come with extra o-rings. I'm glad I bought the 7 sets I have.

One of the inner bearing is damaged (only half there) and the fit is not clean. I will only use the connector to avoid premature connection failure (e.g. when pumping hot wort).

I liked these when I first got them. After three uses, it was difficult if not impossible to connect the fittings and hardware together. I was able to withdraw the female connector assembly and insert the male connector, but the assembly would not move back to the forward sealing position. I come back to my proven eccentric lock fittings.

I bought several of these and use them on my 220F wort pump and cooker. The o-rings in the picture are already installed in the housing, so no assembly is required. The barb is on the female end and the 1/2" NPT is on the male end. Use tape to attach the NPT. However, I would recommend using a little sanitary gel on the o-rings to make it work.
