This antenna is basically a radio frequency antenna in a fiberglass housing. There is no amplification and I doubt it will be able to sustain more than 10W of power for long. It takes up very little space, so it's easy to hide, but that's about it.

Although the details say 136-174MHz, 400-470MHz on the UHF amateur bands, the SWR never drops below 1.5 and achieves SWR 2.1. The title says 430MHz, and this band is definitely better, so I'll skip that. On VHF, even though the name says 144MHz, it doesn't work very well. Works better than the amateur UHF bands, but as an antenna advertised at 144MHz, it's everywhere. I didn't have high hopes for this antenna (16" dual band with no ground radials?) and I was right.
