Must-have tool for testers

Every HVAC technician should have this tool when working on field devices. So much for the precise loading of diaphragm dosing systems.

Much better than the old inclinometer

Essential for airflow etc. Much better than the old inclinometer. And my benefit requires pressure within the rebate. Make it easy

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • Working speed

It's a psychrometer, not a psychomotor.

It would be better if it was advertised as a Psychrometer and not a Psychomotor. I met psychos from all over the country. None of them had motors. Other than that, this product does what it's advertised to do and I've had very good luck with Fieldpiece devices over the years.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Packaging is ugly

Better connection needed

This works great when connected. The biggest mistake is getting this and my sensors to pair and stay connected. They have to be almost next to each other to connect and when I pass it to the Air Handler I have barely a signal to work with. I bought it to make my job easier and it still isn't.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Minor issues

Great tool, suitable for Multitester

Great tool for diagnosing and testing air conditioning systems. After measuring the amount of air, all I have to do is set it to enthalpy, and with two sensors, the meter reads the difference between flow and return. This avoids the steps of converting a wet bulb to enthalpy and performing mathematical operations. The same sensors also read dry bulb and wet bulb readings at times when those readings are needed. Probe extensions are very useful and avoid climbing stairs for many supply book…
