I like the size which is big enough for a long stick of butter and also for a regular stick of butter. In fact, it's not very big, except for the lip, which makes it easy to pick up. I was looking for the best utensil with a handle in a color to match our kitchen and we absolutely love this handle. It's easy to grab and doesn't feel like it slips out of your hand like some do. I love this butter dish! I was hesitant to buy it as some reviewers complained about the small size. I was shocked to find that this dish is very roomy and can easily hold a cube of butter. I like the top handle, having had to negotiate a sleek glass oiler in the recent past. Getting that smooth glass lid from the glassware was scary. This fiesta dish goes with my fiesta salt and pepper shakers of course so it looks amazing on my table. I'm sure it will last as long as my other Fiesta cookware.
