Good quality, very beautiful, reveals musical details

Purchased to upgrade FiiO F9 Pro IEM balanced headphone cable. The kink at the end of the MMCX cable doesn't seal the headphones well. I'll keep it as a backup but I've been waiting for this cable to work. Update: tried cable again. The cables actually offer a better listening experience than the standard F9 Pro cables. Highly recommended.

Both the old and the new design are perfect for my two purposes.

First I bought an old 60cm design that fits my Mee P1 and Shanling M0 perfectly. I clip the M0 to my jeans pocket and 60cm is just the perfect length - long enough to let my head move and short enough so the cable doesn't snag when I move. I use P1 in the down position. I hope I don't damage these as they are no longer made. I also have a new 40cm that I use between FiiO BTR3 and FH1 headphones and get Bluetooth from my Shanling M0. I clip the BTR3 to my shirt collar and this shorter cable is…

Two $800 earbuds broke

Be careful with this product. The right center contact of the MMCX is larger than it should have been. Two very expensive headphones broke the center pins in the connector. Please look at the photos. You'll notice that the right (red) center pin is larger than the left (blue) center pin. Other photos show headphones I've used this cable on. If you look at the photos, the center pin on the two right earbuds has completely disappeared. Half of the central pin is missing on the left side. While…

Well made, great sound, difficult between "B " and "C " versions

Good, not so starry Allocation: Good: - Clearly well built - Fit and quality of materials please me - Clearly there was a desire to make the cable light, comfortable and durable. Not very good: - The cable gets tangled easily. Mind you, not that terrible, but more than that, the "B" version of this cable - I can tell the difference between this 2.5mm C version and the 2.5mm B version (both symmetrical) don't really hear - I'm always concerned that since the braids are open (meaning they aren't…

Good quality but overpriced

I purchased this cable set because my experience with cheaper items was disappointing in terms of quality control. This one seems to be pretty well made. I use it with a pair of Shure SE425 IEM headphones as well as some FiiO FH5 headphones. The MMCX connectors on the cable fit well and care should be taken when connecting to headphones. The right-angle connector bugs me, but it's minor. I have a FiiO X5III DAP with balanced output. Although some people report a significant improvement in sound

Wow! Amazing sound and great value for money.

Wow! Wow! Wow. This review focuses solely on the LC-2.5D High Purity Silver Litz Wire balanced cable (can't speak to others). I thought it was a pure silver cable, it may be a little hard or bright until it burns out for a while, boy was I wrong. It was delicious right out of the box, delivered by Revain on a cold day. I immediately replaced my outdated mmcx audiophile copper cable with this one and the sound improved immediately. I think it will get even better with time. For reference, I'm…

LC-2.5D - Great, but is it worth the price?

I bought this about 4 months ago as an upgrade cable to connect my Shure SE846 to an ES100 bluetooth receiver/USB DAC. Having read another review of a poor guy having one of these cables destroy the jacks on his headphones, I carefully examined the pins and tested them on cheap headphones before plugging them into my SE846. The fit is tighter than other MMCX connectors I've used. It's constructed slightly differently: it adds 4 slots to the barrel, allowing it to easily hop outward to grab the…

Soft + cheap MMCX stranded cable (LC-D version only)

LC2.5D and LC3.5D cables could have been selected). All Litz configuration comments apply ONLY to LC-D cables. None of the others use individual wire sheathing. Suffice it to say that there is a completely different design between this D-cable and the other options. While it's just a cable and I usually hate doing cable reviews, this product will get a little more love for its construction and price. Is this cable worth the money? TL;DR - Not sure? In terms of performance, probably not. But…
