Excellent quality as always from Hario. This filter is perfect for my Osaka 4 cup vacuum jug. It is made of good strong steel, the spring is very strong and the chain is securely attached.

If you have a Hario coffee siphon and need a replacement fabric filter seat, this is probably what you need. Fits most models and sizes, comes with both a filter holder and a brand new fabric filter, the filter even comes pre-installed.

Bought to replace the plastic filter in my Bodum Pebo and it works great. However, I will say that after a bit of trial and error, you don't really need to do anything with the strings once they've been pulled tight against the filter frame. So no loops etc, just place in a siphon coffee maker and lock. The pressure of the spring and the pressure on the inside of the top pot keep everything in place.

It just doesn't work as well as my original Bodum Pebo filter, even after many attempts to change the process. I had the original plastic filter so I will be buying a new one instead. I wanted it to work. Not.
