LED lighting: Magic for the aquarium

At first I had trouble with the closed switch, but once I understood it I didn't have any more trouble. Fish and plants thrive. I wish I had bought this a long time ago!

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Operating Speed

Excellent. At first I thought he wasn't strong enough.

Very good. At first I thought it wasn't strong enough for a 20g aquarium, but I was wrong. It's quite strong and got me thinking about adding Mg to my Java ferns as they get too much light. Keep general light less than 9 hours a day. This led to algae problems on the glass on the back. Very good for the price and the light you get.

Very bright and goes well with the rim

I have the 24" version. This is a great aquarium light. It has very bright LEDs, lots of white with some red and some blue. It has a slim profile so it doesn't take up much space above your aquarium. It doesn't get very hot or anything just slightly warm.I also really liked that this fits over my rimmed tank.I've had this for a few months now and it still works great.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • So far so good

Works great so far.

Perfect for my 20G High; I use about a month, the power supply is not faulty. All LEDs also work and are as bright as the first day. To prevent condensation from getting inside the body (which was a problem with this model), I wrapped the entire lantern in plastic wrap. Note. The light is not particularly bright. It is bright enough for a low tech/low light aquarium. Its brightness is probably enough for a medium tank. It works great with plants like water wisteria, crypts, amazonian swordfish,

Almost great. - Fish and Aquatic Animals

I needed relatively low light for my 20 gallon planter. The previous light was too strong and produced too much algae. This one seemed perfect except the light's body is twisted so one corner is always facing up so it doesn't sit flat on the tank. I also can't attach it to the tank because it detaches from the glass no matter how hard I tighten the plastic screws. It's a pain in the neck because it makes the light very unstable in the tank, it keeps moving once touched. It's like a four-leggedโ€ฆ

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Not bad

If only I could add a ramp timer.

I've had this flashlight for about half a year now so I have a pretty good feel for the pros and cons in my situation. BENEFITS The light looks great on a rimless tank thanks to its ultra slim body. Profile. The tank looks nice and bright under the light. Plants with low to medium light requirements grow well. The value for money is hard to beat. sits completely flush on both sides. But it's ok, when you look at the tank you don't notice it. Not being able to add a ramp timer is a majorโ€ฆ

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • hard to say

Pleasant lantern with plants for low light

Bought two. 20 inches for 10 gallons and 24 inches for 20 gallons high. Both give off a good amount of light for a planted aquarium in low light as described. In fact, with medium light plants you could probably grow twice as much, although I would suggest using Planted+ instead. You could probably grow some medium-light plants in higher areas. Don't expect to use a lot of red, though. Without more light, they just won't color the way you want them to. All in all, these lights are worth buyingโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Sun-Sun
