I really like this coating. Made of silicone, it does not slip and is slippery. I specifically bought silicone after buying a phone case made from the same material which is great for a car. The Fintie suitcase fits very well. It's thicker at the corners, which act like bumpers, making it more resistant to damage if your mat falls. I don't know what other iPad Air 2 users got, but it works fine for buttons, switches and cameras. There is only a small gap at the connection point between the case and the screen.
