I bought this case to keep my (grey) keyboard from getting rougher from being placed on different desks and scratching the metal. Exactly as described. Not the most durable case, but if you want to carry it in your pocket or backpack, it's more than enough. If you use a screen protector for your Surface, make sure you buy it with a small margin/gap (approx. 2mm) around the edges. It fits snugly and may not work well with the edge of the screen protector. The only thing I would like to improve is a better integration of the pen holder. I really like this case for my surface pro 6. Fits well. I also love the pen holder as it is magnetic on the side of the Surface, I knocked that off so with the holder on the lid I don't have to worry. Thanks for a great product at a great price. The downside is that the plastic edges don't last more than 4 months, although I was careful with that.
