Very disappointed with the way the stand is constructed. If you only use the stand on a hard surface like a table, everything is fine. But if you enjoy using the stand to place your tablet on your lap, for example while watching TV, good luck. And of course, the case is light, but then again, it doesn't protect your tablet if you drop it. I've had good luck with Fintie products before, but this one didn't work.

This is exactly what I expected when I ordered - no surprises. There are definitely times when I need a case like this for protection and this does the job perfectly (plus a pen holder was included - sold). That being said, I'm so used to the GEL TPU case I've used on my latest tablet (over the last year) - I'm not sure I can go back to the chunky smart case. It works but not very well. I was looking for one that had a pen holder inside and it did. I would like a different color than black but then again it had a pen holder which was my main need. Well, the pen holder is not very tight. It stays in, but I'm not sure how well it will stay after a few months of use. The lid also has a small dent. It doesn't affect use, but I still wouldn't buy it if I saw it on the shelf first.

This case fits well and holds the pen securely. This is my second suitcase that I have bought because plastic bumpers become brittle and break over time. In my first case, the bumper broke off around the magnets and was very sharp. In my current case, the corner bumper broke off, see photo. I have always used cases like this for my Nexus 10 tablet. This one was perfect for me as it's a design style that I really like. The magnets to keep it closed or folded for a stand work really well. The S Pen slot under the tablet is just perfect. It holds it securely enough that I don't have to worry about it falling out even with the lid open, and when the lid is closed it's almost guaranteed to stay in place.
