I've had this case/slide for about 6 months and was surprised when one of the plastic corners fell off in my hand for no apparent reason. I rarely use my iPad Air (about once a week to play music or check email) and kept it away from kids, but somehow what little it had was too much for a case. This case is decent enough for the price, but the magnet holding it closed is pretty weak. It's sturdy enough to put an iPad to sleep, but it doesn't really stay as nice and slick as an official Apple case and tends to slosh around. I bought this case as a 'better than nothing on day one' purchase for a brand new iPad Air and will most likely be replacing it with something better in the near future. The item I received is different from the images shown. I had the same product for two years and wanted to replace it with a new one, but apparently the design has changed and the images have not been updated. The corners of the screen are no longer covered, the holes at the base for the speakers are different and the purple color of the case is much more grape than in the picture.
