6 weeks and the batteries are still intact!

My kid loves this toy! He's been in ICU for a few months and had a similar toy so we bought him this one when he got home and we love it even more than the hospital version. The songs are excellent and don't get bored quickly (there is a classic lullaby, a variation of "Tisket a Task”, "Jesus the Joy of Human Desires” and several others). The nature sounds are ok, the wave setting is my favorite and the white noise is good too. As mentioned in other reviews, you can't use both the starlight…

Great cell phone alternative

I think $30 or $35 is a good amount for this product. I love the lighting, I think blue purple tones are perfect for the night. I love that after 15 minutes the otter slowly stopped moving I think and then the sound stopped after another 15 minutes. My 2 month old couldn't get enough of the animal movement. She loves looking at him and it puts her to sleep. I also like the choice of sound, although the sound of the sea and the sound of the fan are very similar, these two are my favorites. I…

Recommended in place of Baby Einstein Ocean

I had this Baby Einstein Ocean version for my first child and loved it. I also used it for my second child but after about four years of use the motor gave out and started making a loud noise that I could no longer avoid. I decided to give it a try just to have something different and I have to say I wish I had one for my first child. Each has its pros and cons, but the best part is the music and audio options, which are generally good. The lights and sounds create a much more relaxed…

So incredibly bright!

ETA: broke 1.5 months after purchase. Bought this on 01/02/2020 and kept it against common sense because it was so bright. Regardless, my daughter liked it and continued to use it at night. However, it hasn't worked since 02/23/2020. When it "fades out" it goes into a 1 second loop and annoyingly repeats itself over and over and over again, flashing lights and glitches - ALL NIGHT unless you turn it off manually. I just walked in at 3:30am because my 23 month old daughter asked what happened to

Great with a tiny problem

My son has been using the Einstein Ocean pacifier since he was two months old while he is sleeping. We just switched to this one because it fits the nursery theme better and we will be having another baby soon to use a different one. what he wants to hear to go to bed. So can this one, BUT the switch is right next to the buttons that control the sounds and the projector. So he turns it off sometimes, but he hasn't yet figured out which switch turns on and off from the top, so if he wakes up…

Better than the Baby Einstein Sea Dreams pacifier

Our daughter has had the Baby Einstein Sea Dreams pacifier since birth (now 2 years old) and loves it. We loved it too and bought another one for our second child. Our daughters eventually broke and we replaced them with this pacifier and I honestly wish I had two of these pacifiers. Pros/Cons: Light: The Deep Sea pacifier has a very bright blue light, this one has a much more soothing light color and darker sound: The Fisher Price version is MUCH quieter, even on the lowest settings I had to…

It's easier to go to bed

I wish I had bought it when our baby was smaller but unfortunately I didn't think I needed it. Fast forward to sleep regression, teething, etc. and bedtime has gotten a little tricky. I love this product and it has definitely made bedtime less stressful. Advantages: good sound selection, volume adjustable and pleasant even at maximum volume. The star projector isn't too bright, but casts nice silhouettes on the ceiling. Cons: It's set on a timer. It's a bit annoying and inconvenient to lock to…
