Hug your knees! The best investment I've made all year.

I wish I had bought them ten years ago! Washing floors and other household chores are much easier when your knees are covered in such thick foam. They hold up really well, the elastics are oversized and the velcro doesn't pinch the backs of my knees at all (I wear them over blue jeans or yoga pants, they hold up equally well with either). bad knees but with Fiskars knee pads I can crawl on the floor and assemble Ikea furniture for hours at the end of the day without pain.

Incredibly comfortable

I needed knee pads to hand wipe the kitchen floor. My dog broke into the house but is on diuretics so he needs to urinate frequently. I put puppy mats in the kitchen in case I'm not home or he can't wait for me to let him out. I sometimes see paw prints on the kitchen floor and I didn't want to use a mop for such a small area. I use them all the time now. They are very comfortable. I don't feel the hard kitchen floor in my lap, just a "cushion". I fasten them (Velcro) under my knees and they…

Much better than lugging around a pillow

It speeds up my weed removal. They are well made and really comfortable. I'm 5ft 2in, 140lbs and they stay in place easily. It's a lot more comfortable than carrying a knee pillow across the yard. In shorts the skincare straps are uncomfortable so I try to wear capri leggings but mostly I just put up with it because I think it's a reasonable compromise. Expect velcro straps to feel good against bare skin. I got a cheap pair of foam from a discount store, but these Fiskars are much better. PS I…

An excellent choice for those who prefer miniature sizes.

Still have a lot to do with them other than checking if they fit and walking around and laughing at how weird they feel (just a nice weird feeling, hopefully its novelty gradually disappears; they don't interfere with walking and don't restrict freedom of movement) but so far so good. The "Ultra Light" part is at the top. They feel like they weigh nothing and are thick and strong enough to cushion bony knees on hard ground. They don't have a lot of pressure, but what little they have is plenty,

Highly recommended!

This is one of the best purchases I have ever made to help with my gardening. I wish I had bought these years ago. I've seen small lap cushions at gardening stores and they were quite expensive, plus I really didn't want to take them everywhere. They are perfect because I put them on and when I want to get on my knees to weed or plant I can just lie down and get to work. And both my hands are free to hold trays of starter items, buckets, garden tools, etc. I don't really pay attention to what…

Low weight and great knee cushioning!

I only gave 4 stars because the padding in one of my knee pads started to peel off shortly after use. But for knee comfort and cushioning, these knee pads are great. I gave them a real workout last week by coloring my decent sized deck (i.e. kneeling for quite a while), all the knee pads were amazing! I have other knee pads that I started using but then switched to these new knee pads and WOW what a difference in knee protection these Fiskars pads offer great knee protection. A knee on a…

Good for disability.

I am 62 years old. When I'm not in a wheelchair, I crawl around the house on all fours. The Velcro is very convenient and fast for me. I carry my pair with me to go to the bathroom, on the floor next to my computers and so on. I use them on my hard (like cement) tile floors and it feels like a soft carpet! I would rather crawl than risk my unsteady gait and fall and break a bone! My neurologist said it was better than falling and my knees didn't hurt with knee pads. I don't even take them off…

Cons
  • unreliable

Lightweight but flexible and not durable.

I have to crawl along the dock and also in the boat to support and latch the lid of my pontoon boat. I thought it would help protect my knees. This is my first experience with knee pads so I can't compare them to others but that's how I feel with these knee pads. I wore them for less than an hour today and they were certainly comfortable but I don't think they will last very long. The inner foam liner is already starting to peel away from the outer foam shell and will likely need to be glued in
