🧔 Fisticuffs Strong Hold Mustache Wax – 1 Ounce Tin Review

I bought it because it said it contains pine sap. I was expecting it to be a very strong grip but was very disappointed. Actually I have to use quite a bit to get results. Also, my mustache starts to sag after about 20 minutes and I have to twirl it all the time. This loosens the wax even more and requires constant reapplication. I've tried Death Grip before but found it too strong. I was hoping it would be a good compromise. I was wrong.

I've tried every method in the book with this wax to hold it, even tried giving it a little shine with pomade but still no luck. Just your body heat melts everything, gets weird and loses its grip, not holding at all after about 15 minutes. I will definitely look for a replacement. Although it smells good.

I have tried many different waxes in the past and everyone said Fisticuffs were the best. Well it isn't. Wax does nothing at all. It's not strong, it's not sticky, it's just awful. I was hoping I could find a better alternative to Bearded Goon beard wax because that crazy thing was pulling hair out of my mustache, but Fisticuffs isn't. The worst thing is that they don't even offer a return policy. Now I'm stuck with this junk and can't even get it back.

As much as I love this wax, in my experience it hasn't worked as advertised. I applied the recommended amount but found it wears off after 10-15 minutes at most. It doesn't smell great (for a product that sits under your nose, I think it should be at least slightly pleasant). Unfortunately, compared to other waxes I've tried, this one doesn't even last a tenth. Maybe this is an isolated case as I see a lot of positive feedback. I love mustache wax. With the right mustache balance, I can style my mustache to my liking. Accept nothing but big compliments on my mustache. I could style the handlebars with either sharp edges or a more relaxed style which I prefer. I would recommend Fisticuffs to anyone looking to style an exceptional mustache.

Everyone's mustache hair and purposes are different. But I think for most people this will be the perfect wax. strong fixation, good price and above all ease of use. The stronger ones I tried were either too big (Death Grip. Takes a long time to heat up and is like pine sap) or too crumbly (Viking Extreme Hold). It's easy with the perfect texture.

If you're new to mustache styling and want instant results, simply use Elmer's Glue. Think of the spikes of freedom. However, once everything relaxes a bit and trims properly over time, it's good. Natural look without shine, the nail method comes out well from the jar, mild odor, not greasy, woman-approved. 4 stars because it doesn't last all day like others have said. Overall great when used correctly.
