Seems to work as advertised. If you don't have a dishwasher, I'd personally like to skip this point. The bandage itself is difficult to clean due to its small cracks and the bandage gets caught between the rubber pads. You have to leave quite a bit of room to be able to shake it up without covering the middle lid (you can use the top lid (which holds the ice pack) if you spill, but that's another thing for washing out. While it's solidly made and has enough room for a large lunch/dinner salad, the lid that holds the salad in the container is easy to remove. It doesn't snap and it looks like it even has a gap. I had one like this for many years, I took an ice pack with a lid out of the freezer and accidentally dropped it on the floor and the lid broke from the weight of the frozen ice pack.
