Is this advertised to children? Got this for my 7 year old and it's too big for his wrist! Also the application does not go under 55 lbs? This is an adult Fitbit that kids can use, but it's definitely not made for them. This makes me question the reviews on this item as to how good it is for kids which is why I bought it.

The perfect fitness tracker for my 6 year old son. I only downloaded the application on my phone to set up the tracker (height, weight, age, etc.). Once that was done I didn't look at the app and didn't have to do anything. The tracker works independently, without a smartphone or device. He enjoyed checking his steps every day. The battery life is long, perfect for his wrist and mine. I will be buying these for my other two kids for their upcoming birthdays. Great product at a great price

Updated. Obviously, the strap attachments should be on the right ends of the device. If not, then you are free. Update: The company sent a replacement watch free of charge and no problems so far. I'm happy with them so far. My daughter loves her. My 8 year old daughter saved over 2 months to buy this watch. Sleep tracking is not working properly. UPDATE: Downgraded from 2 to 1 star. Worn for a little over 2 months - no longer works. Died at 70% charge. It turned out to be a waste of money. I bought this for my 7 year old grandson. Since he doesn't live with me anymore and doesn't have an iPhone, we set him up so that he doesn't get a notification if he's not in the app. However, he has an iPad that he keeps with me and since he spends every weekend with me we can sync and charge it every 7 days.
