Great for renovating.

I am replacing the pipes in my old house from galvanized pipe with PEX. I use them to connect the floors under the sink. Eyelets allow for firm attachment to the wall. The PEX connector must be crimped prior to fitting assembly. Then it remains only to screw in the chrome nipple, cut holes in the drywall and finish. The valve is simply screwed onto the pipe and everything is tight.

Pros
  • Heating, cooling and air quality
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

I've used a few of these before...

They came in handy for installing a sink fixture that plugged in through the back panel. I will probably use more of these in the future. If you have plexiglass or copper plumbing around your home and want to leave in place old heavier gauge galvanized steel pipe, old flexible hose connections to appliances and old fittings etc. you will definitely need them! Whatever the case, I've solved most of the plumbing problems in my house and the two sinks I've used them in work great with no leaks.

Pros
  • Humidifier
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Okay, but the ears are a little small

I got these to replace the plumbing in a rental apartment and install laundry valves. They work great and are easy to install, the screw holes are too small. They just need more meat, bigger holes, etc. I had to find smaller screws because I was afraid to drill them with so little metal. I wanted to attach them directly to the log wall but they are too small for the faucets. I attached a pressurized 2x4 to the block and then small wood screws to secure them. It works, but they could be a lot…

Pros
  • Household and kitchen
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
