Started a new job and the two monitors were only deployed at an up and down angle and didn't physically move up and down. At an angle, the monitors gave weird reflections, so I needed monitor stands. The need to check for sharp scraps of metal before handling them never crossed my mind. I had to remove helix pieces from two of the four legs to engage the external threads. This is EXACTLY what I was looking for! I wanted something that I could slip onto my Mac mini and onto my laptop and still look stylish. This shelf is perfect for that. The size is absolutely perfect for my 15.6" laptop and the tray looks so good. Very strong, with nice beveled edges. I love the clean look of these monitor stands compared to the chunky black ones. They come with leg guards to keep your table from getting scratched. They are light and easy to move. The only negative is that the legs aren't adjustable, but since I have monitors I had no problems.

Product assembly was smooth. Until I tripped over a leg with no thread. I don't necessarily want to put the monitor on a shaky tripod. This is probably the worst thing I've bought from Revain all year. Very easy to assemble and looks good - yes - BUT although the legs are 'adjustable' there is NO way to attach them. I REPEAT - THERE IS NO WAY TO ATTACH OR SECURE THESE LEGS AFTER "ADJUSTMENT".
