I love soft cotton! My boys are 19 and 24 pounds. XL fits well. Although I probably won't plant it in the dryer to avoid shrinkage.

My dog has a bigger chest than most dogs. Bust 19-20 inches, neck 13 inches, length 16 inches. I thought since he is only 1 year and 9 months old and I thought he would grow up a bit more. I left 2 inches of chest space as recommended, but the shirt was still quite large for him. I'll see if I can shrink the shirt down a bit to fit better and maybe return other shirt sets I bought with L or save for later. Overall a high quality shirt.
