I felt like Cinderella's big ugly stepsister trying to get a shoe.

I know a very aggressive shoe should fit a small size, but this one was too intense for me. Even after putting on a full size (I wear women's Rogues in a size 8.5), I could barely get my foot into the shoe. I felt like Cinderella's big ugly stepsister trying to put on a slipper. My whole heel was still sticking out from behind even after I flexed my foot a lot. I had to send these back.

Based on some reviews I'm my street size (5) and it fits with some stretch but too much small me ordered a 5.5 and it arrived today and again it is better but still a bit small despite the stretch. I have ordered six and am hoping they will fit as I am heading out on our last climb of the fall. Now I wear Anasazi size 5 but I wanted something more aggressive.

There are good shoes for bouldering or climbing with lead

There are good shoes for bouldering or climbing with lead. I've never tried them before but I really like the 5.10 Team and Jet 7. I knew the 5.10 was smaller. So I bought a size 7, the same size as my street shoes. It was tough for the first two or three workouts, but then I got used to it and they stretched a bit. However, all 5.10 climbing shoes have the same problem: the heel never fits and leaves room. But it was a good deal and I'm glad I discovered them.

Great rubber but my foot was deformed

Pros: These shoes have an amazing 5.10 rubber that will stick to almost anything on the wall. Velcro fasteners make it easy to put on and take off. The skin stretches slightly to conform to your foot. I've been wearing them for about 3 months and climb 4-5 times a week and they still haven't worn out on the toes (some shoes start pitting around this time), the heel stays on the heel hooks. Cons: The main problem I had and the reason I only gave them 3 stars is that after the first month of…

Great shoes! Increase the size!

This is a great pair of aggressive shoes. They have a lot of grip and are definitely suitable for boulders and overhanging sports routes. They are very tight and the strap is honestly not even needed. My main complaint is actually the opening for your leg. It's quite tight and the boot sits just below the ankle, so when I make certain movements with my foot it cuts into the ankle from the outside and causes quite painful sensations. However, this rarely happens and should be corrected with…
