These candles were used in an art class this summer. They were perfect for our origami paper lanterns! They even flicker like a real candle. My kids were so impressed! My only complaint is that the power buttons on the bottom were very cramped. Some of my kids couldn't turn them on without my help.

Used for a weekend trip to the woods where fire is a problem. This is a good compromise between beautiful but dangerous candles and overly garish LED camping lights. Used for 4 nights and still working but only lasted about 10 hours a night so can't comment on battery longevity. Overall a great price I would say I would buy them again but I have a pack of 100 so I'm stocked for the near future. I would definitely recommend it to my friends!

Honestly if you buy them for any occasion its great because they are beautiful. I love her. My problem is that I use them all the time and along with them I bought another brand and they are still light, while this one died after a day and a half. Of course I had to turn them off but I was hoping they would last a few more days and it would end up being more expensive to buy batteries and change them every other day. I have to say that there were some that worked longer, but most didn't.

Although I wanted to return this item because the top of one of the candles was damaged and the remote control didn't work. Although I'm stuck with them because the only return options available require me to take the item to another location myself to return it. They look good and the price for a bulb is pretty low. I like the "wick" shape. However, the cable that connects the battery is finicky and seems to flatten out over time, requiring you to remove and pull the battery back in to connect it. This makes the connection fuzzy and sometimes the light just goes on and off. They don't flicker, they pulsate. Three pulses, then a tiny flicker. Rinse and repeat. It doesn't look like real candles at all. They will be a great replacement emergency light kit for your vehicle. I bought these for my mum to use in the event of a power outage. We've had so many potential hurricanes this year, always accompanied by long power outages. I like the idea that it comes with a remote control. So if she's sitting in her living room chair and the power goes out, she can just reach out and turn on the candles.
