Great idea but poorly executed. The flame moves very rhythmically, not chaotically like fire. The flame bounces off the glass and somehow turns into a hologram instead of a candle. I was willing to put them in a place where they weren't as visible, but then two of them stopped the second night I had them. I ended up throwing them in the trash.

Just received and they come right back. First, the glass doesn't look like mercury, just orange. There are sloppy drops of wax on the inside of the glass. The wax in the candle is so thin and the light so bright that when you turn the candle on you can clearly see the shadow of the batteries inside! Review Updated: I wrote my 5 star review and didn't you know the big 2 candles went very dim the next night. The smallest is still light. I assume that the batteries were used up within a week. So with 3 batteries per candle coming out in less than a week this isn't a very good buy. I put her on a timer for 4 hours a night.
