The base is easy to assemble but the back of the chair is absolutely impossible to attach with the screws provided by the manufacturer. You are too short. I just need a drafting chair for work so after 6 hours of trying I finally drilled new holes and attached the backrest with machine screws instead. Obviously this voids any warranty so I can never return it. Now I have a normal drawing chair.

Beautiful armchair. Convenient and easy to assemble, but the adjustable footrest won't stay upright no matter how tight you tighten it. I even used a wrench to tighten it which almost broke the handle and it still fell off. This chair is not very comfortable to use without leg support. I suggest you modify the design with the end of the tool on the spindle so that it can be turned hard enough to hold this stand in place.

This chair worked great for 4 weeks then the cylinder started to loosen and a person under 150# would sink to the floor every time they sat in it. I sent in a request for repair, they issued another cylinder in less than a week and the new cylinder also started leaking. I called the company and they said they couldn't help me because they don't have the correct order number on file. It was their new cylinder that failed, they were never able to fix the problem.

I've been looking for a drawing chair near me for a long time, but to no avail. They could be made to special order, but the price seemed too high. Found this and am very happy with it. It was easy to assemble and very convenient to work tediously for hours. My only complaint and the reason it loses a star for me is the toe ring. don't lie down But that's not too much of a problem for me as its minimal setup is actually quite comfortable for me.

The package came whole. I pulled all the bits and pieces out of the box, assembled the base and cylinder. I locked the footrest that I bought the chair for to tighten the screw, literally one turn, and it broke off the footrest. I can only assume that the person welding the part needs additional training. I called the company and they sent me a new footrest. I hope it reaches me and I don't have to call you back.
