That's OK. I like that it expands so I have 7 slots, but those 5 slots in the middle are very small. I have 12 sets of 5 dinnerware that spill over the sides because they are not deep enough to fold - I don't have this problem with my inexpensive Rubbermaid cutlery organizer. This excellent Copco bamboo cutlery organizer is lightweight and fits perfectly in my cutlery drawer. I've wanted to replace that old plastic cutlery tray for a long time, so it's long overdue. I love the color it matches my whitewashed cabinets. I also find that the outer slots are quite deep but the middle part is shallow.
