These were much longer than I was expecting. The size of the balls seemed to be standard size though. I was skeptical about cutting the belly ring down because I could see what looked like threads on the end of the plastic portion. However, I decided to give cutting it a try and to my surprise when I screwed the ball back onto the plastic part it created a new thread track. I did have to cut the plastic part at a slight angle for the ball to fit back on the cut end but it worked.
