⚡ Efficient E-flite 1S USB Li-Po Charger: Rapid 300mA Charging Review

I didn't see it light up, just blinking when plugged in. I don't think that's correct. I know I ran out of battery, but I'm not sure the charger is up to the task.

Batteries for mini quadcopter last about 10 minutes but charge about 30 minutes. So I bought two more batteries and another charger (yep, this one). Now I can fly while charging two batteries. Yes, I know I may need an extra battery to fly continuously. The charger works as expected, delivered on time, at a good price. I'm happy.

Just what I needed to charge on the go when I need help flying. I don't like keeping charged lipos in the car for long periods of time so I keep them at storage level and just pop them into the charger about 20-30 minutes before my flight and I'm ready to fly. Pros: Small, relatively fast charging Cons: Only one needs more :)

This is identical to the original charger that came with my son's leaflet. We bought this as a second charger as my son flies his plane quite a bit and often runs out of charged batteries. Having more than one charger reduces the "waiting time" and keeps the child happy.

Very easy controls. Insert the battery (right side up) and connect it to the USB port. The light turns on and off when the battery is fully charged. Works perfectly.

This is a great little device for charging small LiPo batteries. We mostly fly small planes and we use these little 3.7v Lipos all the time. This charger works on both my desktop and laptop and also in my car which comes in handy when we fly to the field. It's fast and charges my flight batteries in 45 minutes or less. Some recommend larger AC chargers with multiple batteries and I can't disagree, but for my pampering this is perfect.

Charger works well but not safe for less than 300mah battery without modification. One of the resistors needs to be replaced for safe use with smaller batteries. Adafruit makes a similar product for something safe up to 100mAh. Being a 300mAh charger, it will charge 150mAh batteries at 2°C and 70mAh at a whopping 4.3°C. The C rating on the battery refers to discharging, not that Load. The maximum safe discharge rate is determined by multiplying the specified C rating by the battery capacity.

Great charger for any 1S battery! The problem we see here is that it is only compatible with one type of battery; those with microconnections. If you have a hammer you can pry open the case and see the charging board and connector. On the other side you will see two unsecured connections waiting to be used. I added a JST connector and now I can charge 350mah batteries with my quadcopter! Instead of charging it at peak current, it takes a while, but it does its job well. The charger itself is…
