Floafers Watermen's Country Club Driver Review

Bought for my husband to swim as flip flops tend to slip off when wet. He wears them ALL the time when we're on the boat, working in the garden, mowing the lawn, running errands, everywhere. He wants another pair in a different color! He says they fit true to size and didn't blister.

I live by a lake and my soil is very sandy. These things are perfect for boating, running around, running errands, walking the dog and whatever. Sand can get in, but it will also fall out, so that's bullshit. Other than the price I would give 5 stars. Seems a little high but I wanted to give them a chance. I bought two pairs but that's probably all unless there's a big discount.

These shoes replaced a pair of canvas and lace water shoes I wore on beaches around the world for 10 years until my toe stuck through the material. These floafers are perfect for strolling along the beach and getting in and out of the water in style. Great fit and they offer really good foot protection. The design of the screen means that most of the sand and water goes straight through - pun intended! Imagine jumping carelessly onto the waves and you're already halfway there.

I liked the special occasion look and was willing to pay $60 for a fun shoe but no quality. Immediately after unpacking, the dark blue part was torn and peeled off. I'm pretty sure it would only get worse with wear and tear. After all, they were mainly bought for their looks. Comfortable enough that for $29.99 you could have kept them as they wouldn't be subject to heavy use, but couldn't justify the cost of a pair of spongy plastic shoes with a peel-off design. Too bad.

These shoes look very stylish especially in the black color I got. In fact, they're too good to just keep for the beach. They're quickly becoming my go-to shoes for driving and running errands. They are very well made as they appear to be cast from one piece of material. The stitching is more decorative than functional, which is a good thing, because nothing can fall apart when wet.
