The best safety leak insurance

So far, so good! I bought these to replace my old flood buzzers. So far we haven't had any leaks that they've actually tested (so I can't give them 5 stars) but when I tested them in the water they worked. I'm sure they will work if there is a leak. We have them in the back of our washing machine, on the bottom of sink cabinets, and near the water heater. In fact, the old ones we replace are also equipped with an alarm when tested, but after many years of work, it's hard to say how long this…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Expensive

I love the devices and have ordered 2 sets of 3 each. All but one of the units work correctly by reading the test instructions and 1 unit does not work even when placed in a bowl of water, all 5 others are currently in use and I am very pleased to have this 'extra' alarm system is under control. especially mussels. Disappointed that 1 unit is defective and didn't feel the need to return all 6 units to replace 1 unit. So keep all others as directed in usage. I will not return for a 1 unit…

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Very expensive

Affordable active water leak alarm

Pack of 6. Tested with a wet fingertip, they all made a high pitched sound that stopped as soon as contact with moisture ceased. The volume is too low to hear upstairs in the laundry room or basement bathroom. I placed one under the kitchen sink, one under each sink in the bathroom, and one on the floor behind the upstairs toilet. This left me with two unexpected spares. The pitch varies from device to device, how high can the capacity of non-replaceable batteries be? If any of them fail the…

Pros
  • Top marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Disappear

FUZZ BUSS IS THE ONLY WATER DETECTOR I WILL USE.

I have one under the kitchen sink, at the dishwasher water inlet (it's the first place the dishwasher leaks), under the refrigerator (only needed if you have an ice maker or cold water dispenser). I put them in the bathroom next to the bathtub, near the toilet and under the sink(s) anywhere water can spill. There are several similar ones, but none of them are inexpensive: one type only works once and cannot be checked manually, others have other limitations. The fuzz buzz sensors are just above

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Speed

Worked when my sink leaked! I would like it louder

In general a good product! I have a temporary system set up, my drain pump needs to be drained into my supply pan with some not so good plumbing. The laundry tub itself also has a very slow drain. Once when the pump was draining water into the tub every 2 minutes, a few drops squirted out. The drops turned into a little puddle and this little alarm started going off! He did exactly what he had to do. Then I took it out of the water, dried the bottom, swapped it for another in the place where I…
