Red sand is definitely more than pink. It is NOT red like in the photo which is disappointing. And not as shiny as I would like.

I bought this product to use as sensory sand with students. The blackness covered our fingers and it was pretty messy. I would not recommend it for this kind of use :)

The sand was packed very well. No loose sand, it was all in one container. There is a subtle touch of shine that I wanted for my terrarium. Another reason I bought this sand was because the sand is in a plastic container, not a plastic bag.

Good quality craft sand but I was very disappointed that the glitter was barely visible. I keep mine in a clear jar and unless you put your face in it you won't notice the shine. If the glitter was more brilliant I would give 5 stars.

I bought some sand to paint letters with my preschooler. We pour sand into a casserole dish and she writes the letters with her fingers. I thought glitter sand would be more exciting for this practice as she LOVES glitter. Pros: Sand works well for this (we mixed black and purple).
