I ordered another one of the same type but both sides were very soft and ended up too hot. I returned it and received this blanket and it is PERFECT. The cooling side is essential so you don't wake up sweaty! My 7 year old has a 7 pound blanket and loves it. This will help him fall asleep faster and sleep through the night.

Advertised as 41 x 60, measures closer to 38 x 54. The actual inner duvet appears to be even smaller and moves within the cover. We have a weighted bamboo top from Weighted Evolutions, the cover seems to be a lot cheaper and I wouldn't be surprised if it is actually polyester. The constellation design is very cute but I might return it as it is significantly smaller than the advertised size and overall seems cheaper than our other one.

We were recommended a weighted blanket for my almost 7 year old son but we've tried a few and he hated them because of the texture of the cover. When I found this one I knew we should try it right away because it wasn't as fuzzy as so many of them. One side is plush and the other side is smooth and comfortable to the touch. He loves to! Update: I contacted customer service to return it and they gave me a full refund but let me keep the comforter.
